A typical service for us might several choruses of praise and adoration to our Lord, Jesus Christ as well as a Hymn or two that engage us in "singing our faith". While we love a variety of choruses, we still believe in the great hymns of the church, especially those that teach doctrine and the foundations of our faith.
A prayer chorus often precedes the pastor's prayer and offertories are typically played by the organist, the worship team instrumentalists, or other instrument. There is usually a special song, brought by a member of the congregation, before the pastor's message that helps us open our hearts and minds to what the Lord has to say to us during the pastor's message.
We have been blessed here at the Waynesville Church of the Nazarene to have the number of musical people that we do. God has blessed us, and thus we sing our praises as a offering to Him.
